The Vision - Economic Confusion

Prophesied in 1973 by pastor David Wilkerson.

ECONOMIC CONFUSION

A CRASH IS COMING

There is a world wide economic confusion just ahead. In my vision, this is the clearest thing I've seen. Many praying people now share this very same vision. Not only is the American dollar headed for deep trouble, but so are all other world currencies. I see total economic confusion striking Europe first and then affecting Japan, the United States, Canada, and all other nations shortly thereafter.

It is not really a depression I see coming... but a recession of such magnitude that it will affect the lifestyle of nearly every wage earner in America and around the world. Countries that now control huge amounts of Western currency are going to be in very deep trouble also. Arab countries will especially be hurt. Without a doubt, there are lean years ahead full of monetary confusion and despair. How soon is not clear, but it is not far away. The world's greatest economists will be at a loss to explain the confusion, and an international crisis of fear will develop. A false economic boom will precede the recession...but it will be short-lived.

The Vision - Drastic Weather Changes and Earthquakes

Prophesied in 1973 by pastor David Wilkerson...

Drastic weather changes are breaking records around the world. Some experts believe this is caused by volcanic ash from the eruptions in Ice land now being carried by the jet stream in the troposphere. I personally believe that much of the drastic weather we are seeing throughout the world today can be explained up to this point with science. In past centuries the world has witnessed devastating major earthquakes, killer heat waves, horrible floods, and all kinds of bizarre changes in the weather. All things have always returned to normal.

In my vision, I have seen very little that is supernatural about the drastic weather changes we have experienced up to this time. But I also very clearly divine intervention about to happen throughout the world. This world had best prepare for weather changes that cannot be explained by any other word but "supernatural." The world is about to witness the beginnings of great sorrows brought about by history's most drastic weather changes, earthquakes, floods, terrible calamities... far surpassing anything ever yet witnessed.

SPIRITUAL WARFARE - Conclusion: Witchcraft and Worship

I've decided to conclude this series of posts on spiritual warfare with a warning against Satan's fifth column and a call to worship God in spirit and in truth.

But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. (John 4:24,25)

So what is Satan's fifth column? It was explained to me as follows...

In 1936, there was a civil war in Spain between the left wing and the right wing. Tragically, the Spaniards were fighting against one another. At one point a certain Spanish general was besieging a Spanish city. A second general came to him and said, "What is your plan to take this city?" The first general replied, "I have four columns advancing on the city, one from the north, one from the south, one from the east, and one from the west." Then he paused and said, "But it's my fifth column I'm expecting to take the city for me." The second general asked, "Where is your fifth column?" And he replied, "Inside the city." The fifth column is that which is inside, working against the people who are unaware of its presence. That is Satan's tactic to destroy the church. His power (especially in the many forms of witchcraft and idolatry) infiltrating the church, and manifesting at its heart as righteousness and as the light of truth.

And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works. (2 Corinthians 11:14,15)

SPIRITUAL WARFARE - Part 8: The Armor of God

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; (Ephesians 6:10 -18)

SPIRITUAL WARFARE - Part 7: The Road To Deliverance

 

 

 

Perhaps, as you have been reading, you have recognized that there are demons at work within you. You did not previously understand the pressures you were enduring, but now you have been able to identify them. Thank God! You no longer need to endure those pressures passively. The sacrifice of Jesus on your behalf is the one all-sufficient basis on which you can claim a full release from every demonic force Satan has directed against you. If you decide to claim the deliverance God has provided for you, you have two options: to seek ministry from your pastor or fellow Christians, or turn directly to the Lord for the help you need. If you have access to a church or other ministry willing to help you, then by all means seek their help. It is important to make sure, however, that they are sincere, Bible-believing Christians and that they understand what is involved in dealing with demons. If you, as a Christian, approach them and discover that they do not believe a Christian can have a demon, then obviously they will not be able to help you.

SPIRITUAL WARFARE - Part 6: Strongholds and Gatekeepers

In dealing with demons, we need to follow the pattern of Jesus, who said that He "cast demons out by the Spirit of God"(Matthew 12:28). Jesus depended on the Holy Spirit for discernment, direction and power. We can be effective only when we are equally dependent on the same Holy Spirit.

Demons have three main purposes assigned to them by Satan: first, to torment and afflict us; second, to keep us from knowing Christ as Savior; and failing that, third, to keep us from serving Christ effectively. In accomplishing these purposes, demons are normally invisible. They cannot be perceived by human eyes. We can, however, recognize their presence and activity in the same way that we recognize the wind. We never actually see the wind, but we see the effects the wind produces.

So it is with demons. We do not normally see them, but we recognize their presence by certain characteristics actions.

SPIRITUAL WARFARE - Part 5: Forcing the Gates

Pastor Derek Prince further elaborates here in a practical teaching about some of the methods by which demons gain entry into our lives:

To attempt a comprehensive explanation of all the possible ways that demons enter into our lives, is far beyond the scope of all the posts I've tried to share thus far. So for this post I will simply share seven examples of moments or places of weakness through which demons habitually gain access to human personalities.

1. A family background in the occult or false religions

In Exodus 20:3-5 the Lord warns of the evil consequences when people become involved in idolatry or false religion.

Thou shalt have no other gods before me. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;(Exodus 20:3-5)

SPIRITUAL WARFARE - Part 4: Silent Residents

Imagine if you will, that you reside in a mansion located in the mountains, the grounds not being far from the city limits. Walking through the lobby of this mansion you notice that it seems to be filled with sculptures, paintings, icons, and various works of art. Extravagant light fixtures hang above foyers with marble floors in some areas, while others appear dark or dimly lit and neglected. The east and west wing hold several rooms, but at the heart of this manor lies a throne reserved for its owner.

SPIRITUAL WARFARE - Part 3: A Question Of Possession

Earlier in this series, I've attempted to share some of what has been shared with me concerning the origins of our enemies. In the next few posts, I intend to briefly examine some of the methods by which demons gain entry into our lives, and set up strongholds of operation. I'm hoping to call attention to the routes our enemies take when attempting to gain entry... as well as what the Scriptures have to say about resisting, conquering, and expulsion of the enemy. Now before we categorize this message as one that all of our unsaved loved ones would benefit from reading, and we point the finger at an unsaved world... the finger needs to be pointed at the church and at our own hearts for a while.

SPIRTUAL WARFARE - Part 2: Unforgiven

In addressing what the Scriptures reveal about the fall of Lucifer, the angels that rebelled, and the judgment that fell upon the pre-adamic earth with its inhabitants, it is an established truth that these entities are beyond redemption. When Lucifer and his angels fell, there was no savior sent for them. They will forever exist in a state of unforgiveness. Friends, have you ever wondered about the reasons as to why they will never be forgiven? Consider what we see revealed about the person of the Holy Spirit, as the Lord deals with His chosen people Israel.

SPIRITUAL WARFARE - Part 1: Rebellion

Friends, when it comes to the realities of spiritual warfare, I'm almost always bewildered by the numbers of professing Christians that seem to want nothing to do with it. However, to walk with God in continual covenant, through Jesus Christ, by the power of the Holy Spirit is to inherit a supernatural enemy. Like it or not, spiritual warfare is a normal everyday part of the true Christian's walk. That being stated, it is extremely dangerous to be engaged in battle with an enemy and not know anything about that enemy.

THE PRE-ADAMIC WORLD - Conclusion: When the Foundations Trembled

Job 38
8 Or who shut up the sea with doors, when it brake forth, as if it had issued out of the womb?

When God caused the waters of this pre-adamic flood to brake forth in judgment, this was not a case of rapid and continuously rising water levels... such as it was with the flood of Noah's day. The waters "broke forth"... this was a flood that exploded forth from within. Imagine if you will, a water balloon filled to its breaking point. What happens when this balloon explodes? The water instantly explodes outward in all directions at the same time. I believe this is what happened with this flood. The magnitude and the power of the explosion was such that the tops of the mountains were submerged to an even greater depth than that of Noah's flood. And like a professional photographer capturing a picture, the Lord froze this flood instantly in the midst of its explosion. Now the earth would seem to have no discernible shape as the circumference is covered in a flood frozen at the peak of its explosion. Just like a water balloon frozen in time at the peak of its explosion... there's not really a shape to a water explosion.

This is the finale to this judgment. However there, is much that happened prior to this climax. And you must understand, what we are seeing here is not a glimpse of sinners in the hands of an angry God... but a world fallen under the judgment of a furious God!

THE PRE-ADAMIC WORLD - Part 2: In Darkness Dwells

Genesis 1
2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

The word "was" in this verse of Scripture plays a crucial part in explaining what happened here. This word is also a point of controversy for many theologians and bible scholars. The reason being that the Hebrew word from which we translate the word "was" is the word "hayatah" from the original word "heyeh". This word has two meanings in the Hebrew language. It can be translated as the word "was" but it can also be translated as the word "became".  In the English language we don't have a word that can simultaneously mean "was" and "became", hence the controversy. I've been given the impression that most theologians and bible scholars will teach that the word "was" is the correct translation. This is stated even within the pages of my own KJV Study Bible commentary. However, I have issues with my bible commentary, and these so-called theologians and bible scholars.
