SPIRITUAL WARFARE - Part 1: Rebellion

Friends, when it comes to the realities of spiritual warfare, I'm almost always bewildered by the numbers of professing Christians that seem to want nothing to do with it. However, to walk with God in continual covenant, through Jesus Christ, by the power of the Holy Spirit is to inherit a supernatural enemy. Like it or not, spiritual warfare is a normal everyday part of the true Christian's walk. That being stated, it is extremely dangerous to be engaged in battle with an enemy and not know anything about that enemy.

THE PRE-ADAMIC WORLD - Conclusion: When the Foundations Trembled

Job 38
8 Or who shut up the sea with doors, when it brake forth, as if it had issued out of the womb?

When God caused the waters of this pre-adamic flood to brake forth in judgment, this was not a case of rapid and continuously rising water levels... such as it was with the flood of Noah's day. The waters "broke forth"... this was a flood that exploded forth from within. Imagine if you will, a water balloon filled to its breaking point. What happens when this balloon explodes? The water instantly explodes outward in all directions at the same time. I believe this is what happened with this flood. The magnitude and the power of the explosion was such that the tops of the mountains were submerged to an even greater depth than that of Noah's flood. And like a professional photographer capturing a picture, the Lord froze this flood instantly in the midst of its explosion. Now the earth would seem to have no discernible shape as the circumference is covered in a flood frozen at the peak of its explosion. Just like a water balloon frozen in time at the peak of its explosion... there's not really a shape to a water explosion.

This is the finale to this judgment. However there, is much that happened prior to this climax. And you must understand, what we are seeing here is not a glimpse of sinners in the hands of an angry God... but a world fallen under the judgment of a furious God!

THE PRE-ADAMIC WORLD - Part 2: In Darkness Dwells

Genesis 1
2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

The word "was" in this verse of Scripture plays a crucial part in explaining what happened here. This word is also a point of controversy for many theologians and bible scholars. The reason being that the Hebrew word from which we translate the word "was" is the word "hayatah" from the original word "heyeh". This word has two meanings in the Hebrew language. It can be translated as the word "was" but it can also be translated as the word "became".  In the English language we don't have a word that can simultaneously mean "was" and "became", hence the controversy. I've been given the impression that most theologians and bible scholars will teach that the word "was" is the correct translation. This is stated even within the pages of my own KJV Study Bible commentary. However, I have issues with my bible commentary, and these so-called theologians and bible scholars.
