Suppose you have a child. Your only child... and you love your child more and more each day. Your love for your child grows to where you love him/her more than life itself. Now around the time that your child turns ten years old, that child is murdered. The murderer is found and detained by the law. Suppose the law of the region allowed you to do whatever you like to this murderer. The murderer's life is in your hands at that point.What would you do? If you kill this murderer, doing so would be vengeance. The murderer being left in the hands of the law to be tried in a court in front of a jury, and sentenced by a judge...that would be justice. If you were to forgive this murderer, but warn that you never want to see them anywhere even remotely near the region again... that would be mercy.

Not of works... Why are we so drawn to works? In ancient times the message of faith was preached and accepted. Later denominations showed up and added works to the message. You have to pray X amount of times a day, or confess this, or do that or you won't make it to Heaven. If you read the Old Covenant you will see one thing continually.

The Law came by Moses and God by Moses said if you want a blessing, work for it. While grace says I give it to you freely. The Law demands that your blessings be earned, while grace says you don't have to earn it...you just accept it! And we as human beings have within us something that cries... No, No, No, there is something I must do! There is something I must do!! And God says I'VE DONE IT! It takes some of us almost a lifetime to come to the realization that there is nothing good in the flesh...nothing of the flesh that God wants.

What does the Scripture mean when it talks about "communion"? There are seven meanings.

First, the word communion means presence. God the Father's desire for you is that the sweet presence of the Holy Spirit will be with you.

Second, it means fellowship. You do not need to pray to the Holy Spirit; you simply fellowship with Him. And you should seek that communion as you would seek water in the wilderness.

The third meaning is sharing together. You pour out your heart and He pours out His. You share your joy and He shares His. "It seemed good to the Holy Spirit, and to us..." wrote the apostles to the believers in Antioch (Acts 15:28). They were sharing...even writing letters....together.

Fourth, communion means participation with. The Holy Spirit becomes your partner. The Scripture, filled with phrases like "working with them" and "the Spirit and us," makes it clear that the work of the Spirit is in participation with you.

Fifth, it means intimacy. You'll never experience deep love with Christ until you know it with the Holy Spirit who brings that intimacy. There is no other way. God has "poured out" His love into our hearts "by the Holy Spirit who was given to us" (Romans 5:5). You can't love God without the Holy Ghost.

Sixth, the word means friendship. The Spirit longs to be your closest friend, someone with whom you can share the deepest secrets of your heart.

And seventh, communion means comradeship. In Greek the word means "commander." He's like a captain, a ruler, or a boss... but a loving, friendly one. Just as he instructed the apostles where they should go and where they shouldn't, He must be allowed to rule in your personal affairs. Remember, since Christ departed, The Holy Spirit is "in charge" on earth.

What does it mean to be filled with the Holy Spirit? Some people think it is exactly the same as driving a car into a gas station and filling up the gas tank with fuel. But that isn't it at all. I have a small container of oil that I use for anointing from time to time. It's just a little bottle filled with olive oil, given to me by my mother. When the oil is used up, it's gone. The bottle doesn't fill itself up again.

The Person of the Holy Spirit

When I got saved I originally thought that was all there was to receive, that is until the Lord began to reveal Himself to me. Little by little and at various points in my walk I've received revelations of the Lord, from different pastors, teachers, the reading of His word, prayers, dreams, visions.....and looking back I realize how little of Him I had when I first got saved, how little I understood as a new born in Christ. Even now (years later) there is still so much I don't understand and so much that I lack. There is still so much of Him that I need in my life. God is bigger than our experience... much bigger than any experience we've had with Him. We limit the the Lord to our level, to what He has done in history, to what He has done through others. Our Lord is greater than this.

If you look at the church today (in general) you see something happening, a kind of separation. God is dividing the sheep from the goats. It's like He's calling a remnant out of pollution. You have one group that says "I don't want the gospel, I don't want the blood, I don't want to offend anybody." The minute you walk away from the blood of Jesus, the minute you walk away from the pure Word of God, because you're afraid to offend someone you begin a path to destruction. There are those that have gone into a mixture, accepting each other on the basis of God loves all. It's a gospel for everybody. No longer is His wrath preached...you see, God's love and His wrath are equal. He is holy. In holiness there is blessings and death. There is blessings and judgment. Like turning on the light in a dark room, when light enters in, darkness must go. Just as the light of the truth of His word judges the darkness of one's heart. Holiness judges sin...there is light in holiness, and there is darkness in sin. The two will not co-exist with one another, but when God's wrath is removed there is no longer any judgment. They remove His holiness. When we say that God is holy we declare His total being. When we say that He is Holy, we are saying that He is light, He is justice, mercy, grace, love, glory, wrath, judgment.....A God of war and a God of peace.

The Authority of the Word of God

The Word of God says clearly that when Jesus answered the Jews about whether he was the Son of God or not, the lord turned to the scriptures. He said "is it not written in your law…" when the Jews wanted to stone him for calling himself the Son of God. Jesus points to the scripture. He mentioned two things actually…The Word of God and the scriptures. The Lord called the bible The Word of God, not the word of man. When he called it The Word of God he was saying that the truth revealed in it did not have human origin but is truly the Word of God. He says that the scriptures can not be broken…. Meaning they are eternal, and unbreakable. You see, the Word of God is the revelation of Jesus Christ. When you read the scriptures, when you study them…. You are discovering Jesus. You're not discovering information, history, poetry, philosophy, theology, religion, etc. You are discovering Jesus….

Choice and Change

Been a lot of changes in my life since I started this blog in 2006. It's been five years... three since my last post. I've gone from borderline anti-marriage movement member to a Christian husband and father. I believed, repented, and was baptized in the name of Jesus Christ my Lord and Savior as of 2008. Now that I have received salvation I'm learning to walk in Christ's love. Learning to be a husband(Also as of 2008), learning to love, learning how to be patient, learning to have faith, learning to pray, learning to simply trust and believe Jesus because he said to, learning to simply live through Him day by day.

There have been such radical changes in my life since posting here that I've decided to deleted most of the older posts to this blog as I am no longer that man. However, I have kept a few of those posts as a reminder of who I used to be, and what the Lord saved me from. Lets see where this goes.

WINDS OF CHANGE.

Well, it's been awhile..... and a lot has happened since my last couple of posts. Some of the events that have transpired since that post have changed my thinking. I don't believe a men's movement is the answer to problems and injustices between the sexes. I do however believe in Jesus Christ. I believe that God can fix anything. This problem is so massively huge and out of control that it's answer could only be supernatural. This is something that no men's movement or feminist movement can fix. With man it is impossible, but with God all things are possible.

What's needed is a Holy Ghost movement. A movement of repentence.... a movement back to Jesus Christ. But sadly the church is silent, and at times I feel it should be ashamed of itself.... So from now on, this blog will be more about looking at current events and all problems from a christian point of view.

Dearest God in heaven..... This is a post from Eternal Bachelor (not for the faint of heart.) I was mortified when I read it. How could a mother to be do such a thing to her unborn? How could intelligent, profesional, doctors with degrees and such go through with such a procedure? Only demon possesion could cause a person to become so numb. When I think of all the millions of abortions that take place in the U.S., all of the children that have been murdered because of inconvinience... God is going to do something terrible to the U.S.

"My body, my choice to have my baby dismembered alive!"

This rather grisly comment was made at an article in The Times I pointed out earlier this week. It's not pleasant reading, but does show the horror of one of the favourite hobbies of feminists; abortions.
As a trainee doctor I had to watch a late abortion. The girl, we were told, was pregnant through no fault of her own. Possibly she didn't know that sex was all about making babies. The operation was full of euphemisms. At no point was the victim identified as a baby and only once as a foetus. Reference was made to 'stopping the heart' as if the heart didn't belong to anyone. At no point was it mentioned that the baby was being killed or was dead. In fact the dismemberment was carried out with the heart still beating because it took too long to stop. The 'contents of the uterus' were extracted - arms, legs, torso and a head like a cracked egg dripping white brains. The 'products of conception' were then checked and the procedure deemed successful. This is not what I signed up for. I want to help heal, not kill. Instead of talking about abortion it would be more honest to say 'killing unborn babies' because that is what happens.And that procedure, of course, is what feminists applaud and celebrate, and they get all pissed off should any of us men dare to condemn it, or even have an opinion on the subject.Feminists are the ones who should be dismembered alive.

5 Reasons Why Christians Should Not Obtain a State Marriage License

Every year thousands of Christians amble down to their local county courthouse and obtain a marriage license from the State in order to marry their future spouse. They do this unquestioningly. They do it because their pastor has told them to go get one, and besides, "everybody else gets one." This pamphlet attempts to answer the question - why should we not get one?

1. The definition of a "license" demands that we not obtain one to marry. Black’s Law Dictionary defines "license" as, "The permission by competent authority to do an act which without such permission, would be illegal." We need to ask ourselves- why should it be illegal to marry without the State’s permission? More importantly, why should we need the State’s permission to participate in something which God instituted (Gen. 2:18-24)? We should not need the State’s permission to marry nor should we grovel before state officials to seek it. What if you apply and the State says "no"? You must understand that the authority to license implies the power to prohibit. A license by definition "confers a right" to do something. The State cannot grant the right to marry. It is a God-given right.

2. When you marry with a marriage license, you grant the State jurisdiction over your marriage. When you marry with a marriage license, your marriage is a creature of the State. It is a corporation of the State! Therefore, they have jurisdiction over your marriage including the fruit of your marriage. What is the fruit of your marriage? Your children and every piece of property you own. There is plenty of case law in American jurisprudence which declares this to be true.
In 1993, parents were upset here in Wisconsin because a test was being administered to their children in the government schools which was very invasive of the family’s privacy. When parents complained, they were shocked by the school bureaucrats who informed them that their children were required to take the test by law and that they would have to take the test because they (the government school) had jurisdiction over their children. When parents asked the bureaucrats what gave them jurisdiction, the bureaucrats answered, "your marriage license and their birth certificates." Judicially, and in increasing fashion, practically, your state marriage license has far-reaching implications.

3. When you marry with a marriage license, you place yourself under a body of law which is immoral. By obtaining a marriage license, you place yourself under the jurisdiction of Family Court which is governed by unbiblical and immoral laws. Under these laws, you can divorce for any reason. Often, the courts side with the spouse who is in rebellion to God, and castigates the spouse who remains faithful by ordering him or her not to speak about the Bible or other matters of faith when present with the children.
As a minister, I cannot in good conscience perform a marriage which would place people under this immoral body of laws. I also cannot marry someone with a marriage license because to do so I have to act as an agent of the State! I would have to sign the marriage license, and I would have to mail it into the State. Given the State’s demand to usurp the place of God and family regarding marriage, and given it’s unbiblical, immoral laws to govern marriage, it would be an act of treason for me to do so.

4. The marriage license invades and removes God-given parental authority. When you read the Bible, you see that God intended for children to have their father’s blessing regarding whom they married. Daughters were to be given in marriage by their fathers (Dt. 22:16; Ex. 22:17; I Cor. 7:38). We have a vestige of this in our culture today in that the father takes his daughter to the front of the altar and the minister asks, "Who gives this woman to be married to this man?"
Historically, there was no requirement to obtain a marriage license in colonial America. When you read the laws of the colonies and then the states, you see only two requirements for marriage. First, you had to obtain your parents permission to marry, and second, you had to post public notice of the marriage 5-15 days before the ceremony.
Notice you had to obtain your parents permission. Back then you saw godly government displayed in that the State recognized the parents authority by demanding that the parents permission be obtained. Today, the all-encompassing ungodly State demands that their permission be obtained to marry.
By issuing marriage licenses, the State is saying, "You don’t need your parents permission, you need our permission." If parents are opposed to their child’s marrying a certain person and refuse to give their permission, the child can do an end run around the parents authority by obtaining the State’s permission, and marry anyway. This is an invasion and removal of God-given parental authority by the State.

5. When you marry with a marriage license, you are like a polygamist. From the State’s point of view, when you marry with a marriage license, you are not just marrying your spouse, but you are also marrying the State.
The most blatant declaration of this fact that I have ever found is a brochure entitled "With This Ring I Thee Wed." It is found in county courthouses across Ohio where people go to obtain their marriage licenses. It is published by the Ohio State Bar Association. The opening paragraph under the subtitle "Marriage Vows" states, "Actually, when you repeat your marriage vows you enter into a legal contract. There are three parties to that contract. 1.You; 2. Your husband or wife, as the case may be; and 3. the State of Ohio."
See, the State and the lawyers know that when you marry with a marriage license, you are not just marrying your spouse, you are marrying the State! You are like a polygamist! You are not just making a vow to your spouse, but you are making a vow to the State and your spouse. You are also giving undue jurisdiction to the State.
When Does the State Have Jurisdiction Over a Marriage?
God intended the State to have jurisdiction over a marriage for two reasons - 1). in the case of divorce, and 2). when crimes are committed i.e., adultery, bigamy. etc. Unfortunately, the State now allows divorce for any reason, and it does not prosecute for adultery.
In either case, divorce or crime, a marriage license is not necessary for the courts to determine whether a marriage existed or not. What is needed are witnesses. This is why you have a best man and a maid of honor. They should sign the marriage certificate in your family Bible, and the wedding day guest book should be kept.
Marriage was instituted by God, therefore it is a God-given right. According to Scripture, it is to be governed by the family, and the State only has jurisdiction in the cases of divorce or crime.
History of Marriage Licenses in America

George Washington was married without a marriage license. So, how did we come to this place in America where marriage licenses are issued?
Historically, all the states in America had laws outlawing the marriage of blacks and whites. In the mid-1800’s, certain states began allowing interracial marriages or miscegenation as long as those marrying received a license from the state. In other words they had to receive permission to do an act which without such permission would have been illegal.
Blacks Law Dictionary points to this historical fact when it defines "marriage license" as, "A license or permission granted by public authority to persons who intend to intermarry." "Intermarry" is defined in Black’s Law Dictionary as, "Miscegenation; mixed or interracial marriages."
Give the State an inch and they will take a 100 miles (or as one elderly woman once said to me "10,000 miles.") Not long after these licenses were issued, some states began requiring all people who marry to obtain a marriage license. In 1923, the Federal Government established the Uniform Marriage and Marriage License Act (they later established the Uniform Marriage and Divorce Act). By 1929, every state in the Union had adopted marriage license laws.
What Should We Do?
Christian couples should not be marrying with State marriage licenses, nor should ministers be marrying people with State marriage licenses. Some have said to me, "If someone is married without a marriage license, then they aren’t really married." Given the fact that states may soon legalize same-sex marriages, we need to ask ourselves, "If a man and a man marry with a State marriage license, and a man and woman marry without a State marriage license - who’s really married? Is it the two men with a marriage license, or the man and woman without a marriage license? In reality, this contention that people are not really married unless they obtain a marriage license simply reveals how Statist we are in our thinking. We need to think biblically. (As for homosexuals marrying, outlaw sodomy as God's law demands, and there will be no threat of sodomites marrying.)
You should not have to obtain a license from the State to marry someone anymore than you should have to obtain a license from the State to be a parent, which some in academic and legislative circles are currently pushing to be made law.
When I marry a couple, I always buy them a Family Bible which contains birth and death records, and a marriage certificate. We record the marriage in the Family Bible. What’s recorded in a Family Bible will stand up as legal evidence in any court of law in America. Early Americans were married without a marriage license. They simply recorded their marriages in their Family Bibles. So should we.

God help me..... I'm begining to truly believe this. The only evidence I've seen contradict this are my parents. I was one of the lucky ones to be brought up with both parents. And even they almost divorced one another. But they thank God that He kept the two of them together. That's what it took for them, and they're very happy...... I'm happy for them, but what about the rest of us? The kind of staying power the older generations had has become the stuff that legends are made of.

Here's a story explaining some of the reason as to why I want to find an unwesternized, feminine, woman.

Once upon a time... (four years ago) I lived with three roomates. One of my roomates was my best friend and brother. The other was a bookworm and pretty much kept to herself, and her ice fortress of a room. Lastly was J.... who would probably remind you of a spoiled child that had to be cleaned up after, and told to take a bath. One day, J brought his wife over from Korea to live with us for a while. We had a hard time believing the guy was actually married..... When she got there she was quiet, polite, and very shy(just like a little girl). Nobody really made much of an effort to include her in the group...... one day I spoke with her and got her to loosen up a little (I didn't want her to have a bad impression of us americans, but strangely I seemed to be the only one that cared.) Her english was broken but not so broken that you couldn't understand what she said. She told me her name, and in english it would translate into Judy I think.

It wasn't long before we all saw that Judy and J were having serious marriage problems. J was a spoiled, stinky, twenty-somthing year old kid that could hardly tear himself away from his computer, or D&D to spend time with his wife. All of a sudden everyone unofficially designates me to take care of her. J shoves his bank card into my hand and wants me to take Judy grocery shopping and stuff. Like an idiot, I didn't argue.... Judy wants to go on a walk because she hasn't been out of the house in weeks, J asks me to take her because he's playing Warcraft or something. She would tell me how she believed that J had cheated on her in the past, how he sometimes would be rough with her, or try to force himself on her. She told me how he had a privious marrage and a son.(Not to mention an illigetimate child by some other girlfriend afterward) Judy would tell me that J was a different person when she met him and lied to her about his past to get her to marry him. It wasn't until she met his parents that his mom and dad forced him to tell her the truth. His only excuse was "I didn't think you'd marry me if I told you." Many times Judy would come to me crying about how homesick she was, how her parents warned her not to marry him but she did anyway because she thought she loved him at the time.... How J threatened to throw her out on the lawn one day, or even made empty threats to kill her! All of us began to hate J, and everyone turned a blind eye/deaf ear to what was going on except me. It was hardest for me because I was the one she constantly ran to. I even spoke to J about it (when I could catch him between Warcraft and D&D) he could've cared less!

One night everyone was away at work and Judy and I were the only two people in the house. That night I went to sleep but it only lasted a few hours. I woke up because I felt something on my face.... When I opened my eyes it was Judy! I don't know how long she watched me sleep before deciding to climb on top of me and kiss me. With tears in her eyes she apologized and ran back up stairs to her room. (my room was down in the basement and there was no lock for my door.) I lay there thinking for a minute before I found myself going upstairs to check on her. I stood by her bed, asked if she was okay, and told her that it was alright. She had jumped in and pulled the covers over her head... I could her hear quietly crying. As I turned to leave, something in me made me ask her if she wanted me to stay. She said yes...... at that exact moment there was a clap of thunder outside. Needless to say, I climbed into her bed and took her to a place she had never been to before. I hadn't realized how stunningly beautiful she was, or how attracted we had become to one another. I hated myself for being so weak... J never found out, to busy playing on his computer. It was obvious to everyone else though. Judy walked around with a smile, and everyone made an effort to try and make her feel more included in things even though it was months to late. Anytime Judy and I had the house to ourselves she would come to me and whisper to me that she wanted me to take her to that place we visited the night of the storm.

Her time and mine came to an end in that house as J had to go back to Korea and Judy couldn't go because something was wrong with her paper work.(We all believed J had something to do with it...) And yours truly had decided to come back home to N.C. Judy started crying the day before I left and never stopped. She told me something along the lines of I would always be the one in her heart or something along those lines. She was crying so much I could hardly make out what she said. I left and never saw her again.... It wasn't until earlier this year that I was able to forgive myself for what I had done, and admit to myself that I had fallen in love with her just as she had fallen in love with me. We lived together for two years. There was never, ever a reason to speak to Judy with a raised voice, we loved her cooking, and she would clean house whenever she could. Before she came, I was practically a nanny because I hate a dirty house. (And we would always help each other clean house.) She was very beautiful, had a cute way of speaking, and even became playful(after that night of the storm...) she kept in shape, was feminine, humble, and had a very lady like/sexy way of telling a man what she wanted/needed from him. Everything I had ever asked God for in a woman. There was just one thing wrong, she wasn't mine.

After experiencing Judy, I simply couldn't go back to american women/westernized women. She showed me how vulgar, rude, alchoholic, loud, manipulative, unappriciative, proud, uncareing, and downright evil AW/WW were. Judy made me feel appreciated, attractive, needed, loved..... like she couldn't get by without me. Even though the only thing I had to offer her was my company. She really brought out the best in me at times. Where as most AW/WW only brought stress, worry, debt, emotional problems, head games.....

This is the reason I want to save up and travel. I want to see the world and hopefully, somewhere along the way meet a nice foriegn girl. Because I can honestly say, that I have all but given up on AW/WW.
